Conciliation In Criminal Procedure Law In The Light Of Amendments Made By Law No.6763

Conciliation in Turkish Criminal Law was initially regulated in Law numbered 5237 article 73/8. This regulation is abrogated by Law numbered 5560 dated December 6th, 2006; articles 253, 254 and 255 of Criminal Procedure Law are amended. Finally, amendments on Code of Criminal Procedure no. 5271 art. 34 and 35 are issued by Law Regarding the Amendments on Code of Criminal Procedure no. 5271 and Miscellaneous Codes no.6763 entered into force by Official Gazette dated December 2nd 2016, no. 29906. With this amendment, crimes assessed within conciliation and the scope of crimes against children are extended. In this study, amendments on “conciliation” made by Law no.6763 are examined
