Investigation of the Activities in the Laboratory Against Harmful Plants and the Spider Fauna in the Gardens of Pistachio in Gaziantep Province

In the study, pests and spiders which their possible of hunters were collected in 2002-2015 the pistachio orchards in Gaziantep were investigated. The spiders were caught with a pitfall trap, hand, aspirator and japanese umbrella. 46 species of 12 families belonging to the spiders were detected. In biological control studies made with Pistachio pests; It is described that there are 2 spiders for Eutelia adulatrix (Hübner), 7 spiders for Sulamicerus stali (Fieber)4 spiders for Megastigmus pistaciae (Walker), and 3 spider predators for Chaetoptelius vestitus (Mulsant & Rey). Spiders have been important predators against pest in the pistachio area and its availability in biological control
