A BIBLIOGRAPHY TRYING ON RESAT NURI GUNTEKIN’S DRAMATICS

Resat Nuri Guntekin has contributed to Turkish theatre with his copyrighted, translated and adapted plays along with his essays and critic reviews. His copyrighted plays are numbered twenty-four are important due to during that time when Darulbedayi couldn’t find the copyrighted plays to be staged. The writer has attributed a special importance to theatre throughout his literary life and maintained his commitment to this genre which was chilhood dream and passion. However, the number of researches on this aspect of Guntekin, nowadays mostly known as a novelist, is rather limited. This article has been prepared for provide convenience to researches about Resat Nuri's plays. A complete list of all the researches and criticisms on the author's plays and dramatics has been tried to be given; But, biographies and theater histories, which are of lower importance, are excluded from the study. Newspaper and magazine articles more difficult to access, forgetten in library archives and researches linked directly to the subject of "Resat Nuri Guntekin's dramatics" have been included in the bibliography
