Communicat？on Skills of Hotel Management Employees: Artvin Sample

Effective communication skills can facilitate relationships in the professional sense as well as in daily life. Therefore, communication skills are required at a certain level in all profession groups. The presence of tourism workers in the service sector requires high communication skills for this reason, it is aimed to examine the communication skills in the hotel management employees, which constitute a significant part of the tourism sector. The sample of the research consist of 13 tourism operation certified hotels in Artvin registered with Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The study data was obtained by Communication Skills Evaluation Scale Survey. As a result of analysis of data, the demographic information of hotel management employees are searched out and opinions of the employees of the hotel companies about the communication skills were tired to be determined with the question of Likert type. In this context, it has been found that the level of education of the hotel management employees and the position they are working associated with communication skills
