Abstract:

The rapid development of technology has led to the emergence of new alternatives in education and training. Educational technologies are also adapting to this rapid development and new teaching methods are emerging. Achieving more people in a shorter time, faster and more economical communication between institutions and people has accelerated this development. These technological developments have led to the implementation of the concept of distance learning within the education system both in Turkey and in the world. The education opportunities which are providing to the students due to the possibility of providing material-based education regardless of time and place with the distance education method are increasing in the last period. On the other hand, sustainability is essential to achieve success in distance education and to pursue emerging technology to achieve targeted learning gains. In this paper; development of the distance education programs of Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Computer Programming, Occupational Health and Safety and Fashion Design Programming are explained.
