The Some Verses in the Story of Prophet Joseph About Provisions in the Qur’an and Relevant Judgments

In this study, the some verses in the story of Prophet Joseph which has been described as the finest story by Almighty Allah and expressed that there are warnings for intellects about provisions and relevant judgments will be handled. Firstly, the place of stories in the Islamic law and what to pay attention while making a judgement are mentioned concisely, the some verses in the story of Prophet Joseph about judgment are discussed with reference to the priority by using the number of them as base and, each verse is explained in terms of its relation with story. In this context, the Surah of Joseph, in which the narrative of Joseph is told, concern on provisions about the subjects mentioned for example: The verses 16 and 18 describe the “necessity of judgment according to the evidence which is strong when the arguments put forward in a matter conflict” and the 19th verse tells “the issue of freedom of lak？t”. Besides, 26th verse mentions “the judgment should be given according to the expert's report in the law and criminal cases” and the 38th verse tells about the “determination of the grandfather's share in the legacy when father is absent”, the 55th verse yet tells that “when someone is better qualified than himself, he/she has to aspire for duty”. In addition to these, the 70th verse refers to “the legitimacy of resorting to the purpose of the deceit”, and the 72th verse mentions “the legitimacy of the cu’ale testament and bail of possession” and finally the verses 78 and 79 also refer to the illegality of going bail for someone
