Retrospective Evaluation of Nails Deformations and Foot Diseases Distribution of Cattle Brought to The F?rat University Animal HospitalKeywords: S???r,T?rnak deformasyonu,Ayak hastal?klar?,Retrospektif Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the predisposing effect of the race on the incidence of foot diseases and nail deformities observed in the cattle brought to the clinic and to inform the patient owners in this direction. The animal material of the study consisted of 422 cattle from various races and ages were formed submitted to F?rat University Animal Hospital between 2015 and 2016 due to foot diseases and nail deformations. The data obtained were processed in herd reading record forms and statistical data were generated and presented as tables. In general foot diseases such as digital dermatitis, interdigital phlegmon, interdigital hyperplasia, bruised sole, ulcus solea and white line disease were observed in the study. As for nail deformations, most of the cases were short claws, scissors nails, sharp nails, corkscrew claws, splay or thick claws.In the light of the data obtained, the owners were informed on the importance of animal race selection in order to prevent foot diseasesnail deformations and the loss of yields and to provide added value to the national economy
