Dervish clothes and especially dervish cap began to be accepted as a symbol in the ninth century in the Anatolian lodges. Each of the sects, claimed their hats in different colors and shapes to be inherited from Prophet and ?Alī. Thus every order is connected to them with a dervish dowry chain. This concerns the ritual of the dervish cap and its place in the order. At the same time, it is important that the dervish cap is in a symbolic structure with its color, shape and parts. Undoubtedly, dervish cap contains symbolic references to creation, divine knowledge and spiritual situation.
