The Analysis Of The Relationship Between Self-Efficacy, Proactive Personality And Openness To Change Perceptions Teachers

The aim of this research was to determine the influence of the self-efficacy perception on openness towards change and to reveal the mediating role of this influential proactive personality. Relational screening model was used in the study. The data were collected from 356 teachers working in primary and secondary schools in Gaziantep in the academic year of 2016-2017. The general self-efficacy scale, proactive personality scale, and openness to change scale of schools were used to collect the research data. In the analysis of the data, descriptive analyzes, correlation analysis and structural equality model analysis were used. In addition, path analysis was conducted to test the structural model. As a result of this research; it was found that self-efficacy has a negative effect on proactive personality and openness towards change. In addition, the structural equality model and the Sobel test were used to determine the relative mediating role between proactive personality, self-efficacy, and openness towards change
