This research deals with the linguistic evidence that is based on inference using the Arabic language, the language of the Quran and the Sunnah, both Quran and Sunnah used as source of inference. Imam Al-Matridi used linguistic evidence in his reasoning; he quoted many linguists and used grammatical, morphological, rhetorical and other examples to demonstrate his views, and to add to the religious evidence the linguistic evidence which is no less important than the Quran and Sunnah, but reflect the basis of the Quran and Sunnah. This research also proves Imam Al-Matridi' wide knowledge of the Arabic language and his ability to use the Arabic language as evidence in the proof of his views, and this is not true except for those who have stood Arabic language and became its scientis
