Analysing The Poems of Cahit Külebi Through Ecocriticism

The purpose of this study is to examine and discuss how the theory of eco-criticism that reveals the relationship between literature and environment is seen in the poems of Cahit Külebi, one of the most important poets of the Republican era. In addition, the nature, environment and place where it is located in the poems of Cahit Külebi's poetry and the problem of urbanization which should be mentioned together with eco-criticism will also be discussed. The study will examine briefly the course of urbanization in Turkey and will then assess his poems about the city. After addressing urbanization, it will focus on what eco-criticism is, what it is about, and how it is located in the poems of Külebi. Analyzes made in the study will be expressed in a concrete and clear way through his poems
