Pre-School Teachers’ Views On Learning CentersKeywords: Okul ?ncesi E?itim Kurumlar?,??renme Merkezi,??retmen G?rü?ü,Durum ?al??mas?,Silopi Abstract: Pre-school education is an education which is offered to children between 0-6 years of age in an educational environment organized under a plan and programme. Pre-school environments are planned, systematic regulated environments supported by the educational process in line with the child’s developmental characteristics. One of the most important element in this environment is learning centers. The number of learning centers and their position within the classroom should be arranged in parallel with the skills aimed at gaining the educational environment in the pre-school period. The level of knowledge of teachers about learning centers should be sufficient for being organized learning centers. In line with this information.the aim of the study is to examine deeply yhe perceptions of pre-school teachers about the organization of educational environments and learning centers. The study group of the research c-onsists of 41 pre-school teachers working in pre-school education institutions in Silopi district of ??rnak province of the Ministry of Education in 2018-2019 Academic Year. The data in the research were collected by semi-structured interview form created by the researchers. Data obtained were analyzed by content analysis technique. As a result, it was determined that pre-school teachers were aware of the importance of learning centers in the development of the child. The main reasons for the lack of learning centers are expressed as economic and physical inadequacy. However, it is considered that teachers are not equipped to select and organize the primary learning center in the current circumstance
