Accord？ng To Bolsheviks Islamic Religion and Its Emergence

Social democracy bases its whole worldview on scientific socialism, namely Marxism. The philosophical base of Marxism is certainly a hostile materialism to all religion. The principle Marx's which religion is the opium of the people is the cornerstone of the whole Marxist view of religion. Marxism has always regarded all modern religions, places of worship and religious organizations as tools of the bourgeoisie, which serve to the exploitation of the working class. For this reason, religion and religious communities should not have a connection with the state. However, after the revolution of 1917, the Soviet policy of religion, especially in Turkistan, emerged as a way of spreading irreligion on the Muslim population and on the other hand disseminating Christianity. The main sources of Islam such as God, Prophet and Qur'an were studied from a materialist point of view and the basic religious beliefs of Muslims were tried to be shaken. In this study, the Islamic understanding of Marxism, which is the basis of Bolshevik propaganda, is discussed
