ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTS OF THE DEMOGRAPHIC PROPERTIES OF EMPLOYEES TO THE WORK ACCIDENTS IN TURKEY

In the world and in our country, occupational accidents are one of the most important problems in the working life.In our study, the general conceptual framework related to occupational accidents is mentioned. After that, occupational accidents were examined by occupational accidents which were examined by Labor Inspectors of Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services between 2007-2011. In addition, a work accident profile study was conducted according to the branches. As a result of the studies carried out, it was aimed to reveal the analysis of the relationship between the demographic characteristics of employees and occupational accidents.According to the analysis, between 2007-2011,it is observed employees in the 25- to 29-year-old age group, and then 30-34-year-old workers are exposed to occupational accidents, male workers, 21 times more work accidents than female employees, as the education level increases and the accident rate has decreased,occupational accidents are concentrated in the sectors of Metal, Construction, Weaving and Mining
