Study on Development of “Education Program Success Test” For The Preservice Teacher

Education programs are one of the most important elements of the learning teaching process. Teachers who will apply the training program. How an education system aims to educate a student, how to follow the methods to achieve this goal and the methods used to measure the students’ learning levels are determined through the training program. For this reason, it is important to determine the level of knowledge of the preservice teachers about the education program which will be so important in their professional lives. In this study, it is aimed to develop a valid and reliable success test for education programs. A success test consisting of 29 questions was prepared by considering the scope of the subjects related to the education programs while developing the “Education Program Success Test”. To determine the language of the test prepared and to determine the validity of the substances, expert opinion from a total of three faculty members from two faculty members in the field of educational programs and a faculty member in the field of Turkish education. The preliminary application of the test was carried out with data collected from 150 preservice teachers studying in the Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department and Science Education Department of ？anakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Education. The answers of the preservice teachers to the questions in the test were examined and the discrimination and difficulty indices of all items were calculated separately. As a result of item analysis, 9 items with item discrimination indexes of 0.30 and below were excluded from the test; rearranged options of a item and Education Program Success Test has been rearranged to be composed of 20 questions. The data obtained from the item analysis of the test were analyzed by SPSS 16.0 package statistics program
