With this aim, the sample includes 280 mothers whose kids are being educated in a science and art center with the diagnosis of being gifted with special talents living in ?zmir, Ayd?n and Manisa; the research tools include Problem Solving Inventory, Parenthood Efficiency Scale for Mothers and Personal Information Form. As a result of the analysis performed, subdimensions of Parenthood Efficiency Scale for Mothers illustrates that emotional support, health, spare time management and discipline explain 29% of problem-solving skills of mothers who have gifted kids with special talents. School support, which is another scale subdimension, does not predict problem solving skills of mothers in a significant way. It is also seen that total points of mothers for problem solving skills and parenthood efficiency do not change depending on gender of the kids, number of the kids, the marriage togetherness status and the education status of their and their husbands, the perceived economic conditions. When the subdimensions of Parenthood Efficiency Scale are investigated, it is concluded that in school and spare time management subdimensions, only in a number of kids’ variable, mothers with one kid differ from mothers with 2 or 3 kids in a significant way
