An Approach To Questioning The Relationship Between Spatial Planning and Landscape: PhD Thesis Workshop

The aim of the PhD study is to give the student the ability to research freely on the determined subject and examine the events from an in-depth perspective and to determine the necessary steps to reach a new synthesis by gathering and interpreting ideologies and ideologies about the subject (Anonymous, 2017). For this reason, trying to find methods other than classical methods for gathering sufficient and necessary data about the topic being studied in the thesis study, which is the final product of doctoral study, is the most important indicator that this purpose is realized. In order to form a new planning language in the thesis study titled "The Development of Planning Language for Upper-Scale Physical Plans Based on Landscaping", a review prepared to prepare effective actors in spatial planning practice in our country by using a method other than classical data research methods (interview, questionnaire, source search) (workshop), and the "PhD Theses Common Thinking Workshop" was organized to take advantage of their experience and to ensure that opinions and ideas are transformed into decisions in cooperation. In this way, it is possible to share the experiences of planners who have different planning experiences in different places in the spatial planning study in which decision data is generated from many different disciplines. It is possible to learn the problems and solution proposals they have experienced, such as reaching the database, making plan decision, a new landscape-based planning language has been created which should be in upper-scale spatial plans.
