Within the relationship between the nation state and the citizenship it is a reasonable expectation to wait that this rise will also promote the citizenship. For as much as the status civitatis is a component part of the conception of the nation state. From the constitutional law approach, the acception of the new harder requirements for the citizenship which is overlapping the human element of the state can be accepted as a natural result which is also in harmony with the rising of the national consciousness. But the empirical evidences are in contrast to this situation. Despite the rising of the national consciousness in general there is no difficulties in acquiring the citizenship. On the contrary according to the new trend citizenship is transformed into a status that can be achieved with money and thus it loses its spiritual value. This is a paradox. It is obvious that the paradox in question will have potential consequences for constitutional law. The results will generally risk the constitutional order or the state. So what should be the rational attitude expected from states or governments about the paradox
