THE EFFECT OF PERFLUORODECALIN ON REPRODUCING AND GROWTH OF MICROORGANISMS

The multi dimensional relationship between human and microorganisms may cause positive or negative outcomes due to conditions. Today, the benefits of microorganisms became even more important for both personal and public health by the improvement of medical sciences and biotechnology. So reproducing and using them in multi sectoral areas are the important topics for scientists. It is aimed to investigate the effect of perfluorodecalin on reproduction and growth of various microorganisms in this study. It is observed that the gas transfusion of perfluorodecalin in 0.2-2% concentration to the medium is able to increase biomass of microorganism and it is shown that it is possible to use perfluorodecalin in some of microbiological cultures like Rhodococcus, Escherichia, Pseudomonas, Bacillus as bacteria and Penicillium, Fusarium and Saccharomyces as the micromycetes by the stud
