AN APPROACH TO LEADER TYPES FOR THE QUR'AN

Abstract:

People are living together. They need rules to live together. They construct these rules depending on their culture and lifestyles. Afterwards, they enact these rules orally or in writing. They need a government or direct leader to live together and achieve their social goals. More generally, we can only reduce this to the leader. This leads to a common goal, with the leadership management, according to the cultural structure of the society. For this reason, the leader must have certain characteristics. Leaders can be divided into classes according to their characteristics and styles and can go beyond their own style according to the conditions. Leaders; some of them can be divided into styles such as autocratic, democratic, liberal, transformative, interactionist and charismatic, with a traditional part being contemporary.Many of the Qur'anicQur'anic Qur'an mentions many leaders, usually prophets. These leaders have methods and ways of acting when making decisions and fighting to achieve the goal. These modes of movement differ from their specific characteristics. Looking at these characteristics, we can say that even though we cannot put the prophets into any form of leadership, they are all charismatic leaders. In the same context, Hz. We can characterize the Prophet Muhammad as a transformative leader. In the general framework, it is possible to see examples of authoritarian and interactive leadership, although the leaders of the community mentioned in the Qur'an usually exhibit leadership behaviors in a participatory and charismatic manner. Liberal leadership behaviors are preferred in rare cases when needs and conditions necessitated
