Change, Transformation and Quality 4.0 With Scientific Approaches

Humankind who have gone from hunting, gathering to agricultural production, learn to trade , to swap and use money as a standard tool for this purpose have realized 4 industrialization bumps in the last 250 years thanks to their rational thinking. The first one, as a result of James Watt’s invention in England, was shaped by the use of fossil fuels, the fourth came from Germany as a thought and suggested to be renewed by a digital transformation. The new deep-rooted revolution that takes the power out of lowering costs with technology support enables companies to be productive, fast and reliable by integrating the competencies of employees with digitization. Industry 4.0, which will evolve with human-focused digital convergence, is a strategy that will provide competitive advantage, with all suppliers and customers starting from the first product, next generation software and hardware, and device-based internet (objects internet) to enable companies, users or machines, transaction without being connected to a center. As it is known, just after the scientific development of the computer and the internet influenced the business world, just-in-time production and total quality management simultaneously shaped the industry and integrated it with the concepts of MRP, MRP II and ERP II. Following these developments, world-class manufacturing (WCM) approach supported by intelligent electronic systems and robots with internet connection brought by physical systems has increased the quality of human life with the products of intelligent factories. In addition to innovations such as production, hardware and software in the world class, as well as all the basic quality tools, it has also triggered the creation of the concept of Quality 4.0, which is shaped by the digitalization of quality management together with Industry 4.0. Therefore, Quality 4.0, shaped by the development of classical quality understanding, combines people, technology and processes and shapes the management of production / operations; customer focused marketing and secure financial systems. In this study, the effects of Industry and Quality 4.0 will be examined, on the institutions that produce goods, services and information on the way of doing business within the framework of new developments in information and communication.
