He has opened a new era in the history of science through research on the history of Islamic science. According to him, the level of development of human history is evaluated from a uniform perspective with the development level of Western civilization. This situation has led to the perception of a false Islamic civilization both in the eastern world and in the Western World. So the Islamic civilization has emerged that reduced to an inadequate position in the face of Western civilization and little contribution to the history of humanity. However, the history of Islamic civilization is one of the most important turning points in human history. Because science and technology developed in Islamic civilization has enabled the formation of new approaches for humanity both in Islamic geography and in the world geography. The activities in the history of Islamic science and technology have made important contributions to the access of humanity to today’s science and technology. For this reason, science, which is one of the most important types of knowledge of humanity, is not the product of only one nation and civilization. It is a common product of many nations and civilization such as Iran, Indian, China, Egypt, Arab, Greek and Turkish. However, the work of humanist orientalists on Islamic civilization is both insufficient and not considered for ideological reasons. Therefore, the contribution of Islamic civilization in the writing of the history of sciences is not sufficiently proven.
