Examination of the Relationship between Family Relations and Happiness Levels of the Secondary School Students

It is aimed to investigate the relationship between family relations and happiness levels of 6th and 7th grade students of secondary school in this study. Within the scope of this study, a total of 747 students including 385 boys and 362 girls who were ongoing secondary education in U？ak, province center in 2015-2016 academic years, were evaluated. "Family Relationship Scale for Children" for family relations of children and the "Happiness Inventory of School Children" for the happiness levels of children were used during the data collection. The findings of the present study show that as the secondary school student’s supportive family relations increase, their happiness levels increase as well. The suggestions were made by evaluating the results obtained within the scope of the related literature
