Awareness and Experiences of University Students' about Nature and Cultural Attractions in Ordu Province

The aim of this study is to determine the awareness and experience of the students of Ordu in relation to natural and cultural tourism resources. The study group of study consisted of 1178 students studying in different campuses of the University. The "Awareness and Experience Survey on Touristic Attractiveness" was used as a data collection tool. According to the research data, the awareness of the touristic values of Ordu is very low. In addition, according to the research result; While the awareness and experience of the students about the touristic values do not show a meaningful change according to the class variable, gender, Ordu status, education unit and campus show a significant change according to the income variable. Male, high income, vocational high school and students studying at ünye have higher awareness and experience levels of provincial tourist values
