MODERATION ROLE OF FEMALE EMPLOYEES’ QUALITY OF LIFE PERCEPTIONS ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GENDER ROLE STRESS AND WORK ENGAGEMENT

Moderation role of female employee’s quality of life perceptions on the relationship between gender role stress and engagement is questioned in this research. Although there are a lot of studyings about gender role stress which is the result of role conflict between different areas of life in individualistic western cultures, no research is found in collectivist Turkish culture. It is thought that the prevalence of women in business life might lead gender rol stress and this process might decrease the level of work engagement. But quality of life perceptions may decrease the effect of gender role stress in this relationship.Datas gathered from female employees in Western Blacksea cities were analyzed with Process 3.0 which is used with SPSS 21
