Social Responsibility Programs in Physical Education and Sport Education and Their Positions in Turkey

In this study, social responsibility programs used for physical education and sport education were investigated, the researches performed to determine which programs had been used in Turkey were reviewed, and the current situation related to these programs was demonstrated. In addition, in this study it was aimed to raise awareness about social responsibility programs used in physical education and sport education for researchers, teachers, programmers and managers. Literature search method was used in the study. As a result, a few research was found, which was related to social responsibility programs for physical education and sport education in Turkey and it was determined that learning model-based programs based on Personal and Social Responsibility, Sport Education, Peer Teaching and Cooperative Learning were used. This research shows that various programs can be used in physical education and sport education to bring social responsibility behaviors to students
