A Problem That Exceed the Limits in Society and Crime Research: “Online Child Abuse”

Child abuse is a problem that exceed the limits, has become a crime committed in a virtual environment with the widespread use of internet that has no clear definition in the criminal literature and it has been passed as “online child abuse” into the terminology of police. The virtual environment can cause children to become victims, as in all age groups. In this study, the role of national-international police organisations in illuminating the “online child abuse” offense is examined in the framework of case studies. In this study, it was emphasized that the changes in children's behaviours could not be observed by families by presenting information about the negligence of families, false facts by the society and the points that should be paid attention by families, educators, society in the face of crime are presented as items
