Muhammed Abduh’s Perception of Quran

Muhammad Abduh has a original understanding of the Qur'anic interpretation. His p？agmatic direction is at the forefront in Abduh’s ommentary. He counts the Qur’an as a guide book. He adopts a Our’anic understanding reflected to life. He is evaluating the verses in a mental perspective. He believes that the Qur’an is in a structure that everyone can understand Muslims do not need any means to understand it. In this respect, the Qur’an should take place at the center of Muslim life. On the other hand Our'an and sunnah are two basic sources complementary to each other. But the view of the hadiths about reliability is generally negative. He has his own criteria for accepting / rejecting the hadiths. He has a groundbreaking personality with his ideas. It is important to reveal his point of view of the Our’an. A work to be done will also fiil a significant gap. Because there is not much work on the subject. This is research, the aim will be to demonstrate the Abduh’s understanding of the Ouran.
