Vocational Burnout of Religious Officials: The Case of Amasya

In this study, occupational burnout levels of religious officials working in the provincial office of mufti, under the Presidency of Religious Affairs, in Amasya were investigated. As it is known, this duty was given to the Presidency of Religious Affairs by law to provide religious services to our people in our country. These people, who are described as religious officials, are imam-hatips, muezzins and teachers of the Qur'an Course primarily. The data collection process of the research was carried out through religious officials working in the center, village and townships as a staff of Amasya Provincial Office of Mufti. The data were collected by applying questionnaires including Maslach Burnout Inventory and demographic information form and the results were analyzed by SPSS for Windows 11.5 Packet Program.
