INVESTIGATION OF DEFENSE INDUSTRY IN TURKEY AND EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTS OF DEFENSE SPENDING ON THE ECONOMY

One of the main tasks of the social states is the protection of the integrity of the nation and the securing of the country security. States against threats form defense strategies and in this direction they produce defense mechanisms. For full presentation of the defense services in the nature of public goods dependence on foreign pre-1980 period at stake in Turkey it has started to slowly move away from dependence on foreign sources since 1980. In this study, Turkey will be examined in the defense industry in a comprehensive manner, the changes occurring in this direction in the industry, research and development activities, the defense will be announced industrial spending figures and defense on the economy of spending the positive and negative effects will be evaluated
