STATISTICAL INVESTIGATION OF VARIOUS CR？TERIA OF SUICIDE CASES IN TURKEY

Suicide is a phenomenon that comes from the past day-to-day, with multiple sub-causes. When the countries are examined in some cases, the reasons are based on the cultural, economic, religious and social factors of the related country. This study was conducted to examine the reasons in our country and to evaluate the results. Suicide; It seems to be a phenomenon that affects the existence and the order of the society, the individual behavior, and the environment in which the person lives. However, it is an action that can be prevented with international dimensions as a result. The main purpose of the study, based on data received from the Turkey Statistical Institute, to determine the causes of suicide between the years 2002-2015 and to analyze. This study was conducted to assess why the suicide took in Turkey consists of fourteen years between the years 2002-2015. Gender, suicide style, age, place of residence, marital status and educational status were evaluated. The suicide situation in our country has been discussed at the end of the study and the studies done. The results obtained are discussed with regard to the socio cultural structure of our country
