F？LM TOUR？SM AND ITS EFFECTS ON SI？ACIK

Film tourism is defined as visits to destinations as well as home, restaurants, cafes and so on that are used in TV, video, DVD, VCD or movies. Film tourism is a new research area in Turkey and it has become a part of academic studies since 2000. S？？ac？k, which is one of the six neighborhoods of Seferihisar, has hosted many TV series and became a part of film industry in Turkey. S？？ac？k attracted people with TV series including Kavak Yelleri and Ege’nin Hamsisi and a film entitled Olanlar Oldu. This study was carried out to determine the effects of TV series-movies industry on the tourism of S？？ac？k. To this end, phenomenology pattern as a qualitative research method was used. The data was obtained through semi-structured interviews and content analysis was for data analysis. As a result of the current research, it has been determined that the series-film industry causes the development of film tourism in S？？ac？k. Such development resulted in positive and negative effects on S？？ac？k. In this context, suggestions were determined for sustainability of S？？ac？k tourism
