Postinjection Sciatic Neuropathy : A fine line between the complications / malpractice

Postinjection neuropathy is one of the common health problems especially in developing countries, and also due to reasons of high morbidity. It is necessary to distinguish the complication/malpractice for this situation which emerged as a malpractice case against the healthcare providers and the healthcare professionals should get the necessary training and show necessary sensitivity in this regard. This situation always presented as 'wrong needle shot, paralyzed' at the media and is causing the accusation of healtcare providers. It was thought that there was a post-injection defect in this situation, so it is a 'crime' and therefore there is a guilty. But in the last decade, it has been seen as a complication in the forensic practice, the presence of the indication of injection, the right place, the right medicine and the right amount. For this reason, demonstrating this in patient records in cases where such allegations are contingent will be useful for future legal cases
