For this purpose, thermal resistance nickel based super alloying was applied to shallow and deep cryogenic process. The parameters used in the experiments are designed with the Taguchi L9 orthogonal array to reduce the test cost. The obtained results were examined statistically and the effect of surface roughness and material wear loss (MRR) of cryogenic treatment was investigated. The Gray-Taguchi approach is used to determine the ideal processing parameters. The most effective parameters for surface roughness values are A1B1 and A2B1 for MRR. According to ANOVA results, the most effective parameter for the surface roughness was determined as 70.99% of the time on, the material duration was determined as 71.66% for material wear loss. For the maximum wear amount and minimum surface roughness value, it was determined that the ideal factors for the gray relational grade occur in the parameters performed by the first experiment
