RE-READING THE FAMILY AND WOMAN PRESENTATION IN TURKISH CINEMA IN THE CONTEXT OF ADOPTION: CAN AND ALBüM FILMSKeywords: Evlatl?k Edinme,Kad?n,Toplumsal Cinsiyet,Aile,Sinema Abstract: Turkish cinema have a productive history in terms of family life stories. Private life of family and the behaviours of mother, father and child as family members were presented in many films. These presentations usually narrated the patriarchal value judgment to the audience. Turkish cinema sometimes take an interest in adoption organization which is very important for family and society. This study is seeking for the view of point about family and woman presentation and adoption concept in Turkish cinema. First of all, films related to child adoption were detected and explained. Can (2012) and Albüm (2016) films were analyzed in the study concept for the reason of their discussion to the mean of adoption for family and society. The findings that we get from qualitative method and description technique is showing the efficient social environment which have traditional value judgment in adoption process. As a conclusion, both films give an example about more realistic and more query approach of Turkish cinema which has a tradition for using adoption subject as a dramatic element in the narrative
