Development Of Local Press In Ad？yaman And Published Newspapers (1950-1990)

Ad？yaman became a province in 1954 when it was a district of Malatya. After becoming a province Adiyaman developed in various areas. One of the best sources we can follow this development of Ad？yaman is the local press in Ad？yaman. Therefore, the examination of the newspapers published in Ad？yaman will give an idea about the political, social, cultural and economic development of Ad？yaman. This study covers the newspapers published in Ad？yaman between 1950-1990. In the scope of the study, Ad？yaman, ？a？da？, Demokrat Ad？yaman, F？rat, G？lba？？, Hakyol, Hür Fikir, Kara？ahin, Yaman Ses, Yeni Demokrat Ad？yaman, and Ye？il Ad？yaman newspapers have been studied. The technical information of the newspapers was given and the relations with each other were examined and the difficulties faced by the local press in Ad？yaman were discussed. The news content of the newspapers were analyzed and it was stated that they were mostly dealing with the topics. In addition, the relations of the newspapers with political parties and how these were reflected in the policies of the newspapers were examined
