AN INVESTIGATION OF HEIDEGGER’S PHILOSOPHY IN TERMS OF WILL TO POWER, TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMSKeywords: Heidegger,Varl?k,Gü?istenci,Teknoloji,?evresorunlar? Abstract: According to Heidegger (1889-1976), modern technology, by will to power, treats earth as an essential raw material for exploitation or as a machine. The results of the treatment are quite clear such cities are no longer where to live. Environmental problems are huge even in rural areas. Acid rains, contaminated rivers and lakes, greenhouse gases effects, extinction of forests, erosion and mass extinction of species… This picture of nature is a kind of suicide for human being. In order to get rid off these problems, it is essential to give up will to power and hinder modern technology. This works aims to investigate philosophy of Heidegger from points of the will to power, technology and environmental problems. The methodology is the documentary research It is thought that possible results could contribute to the issues mentioned above from a philosophical perspective
