Riwayah Consideration Of Ahl Al Hadith And Content Criticising Issiue

Abstract To some degree, the confusing that the practice on determining the status of the hadith in terms of belonging to the source, and identifying and correcting the textual problems of the hadith can lead the readers to a misconception that ahl al-hadith never dealt with the content of the hadith, or to another misconception that they compared content of hadith with other proofs such as reason, Qur'an, experience and historical facts. In determining the status of the hadith, the applying rawi and isnad centred method by ahl hadith is not a tactic developed against the ahl ra’y, but wholly based on the creed and religious principles. The question of that why the ahl hadits didn’t apply the content criticizing is relevant with their consideration of riwayah. The thought that only source of religious knowledge is riwayah, characterized the all applications of ahl hadith. According to ahl hadith, to act with the correct hadith is compulsory (wajib) and no need for source other than hadith. This attitude does not allow the inspection of the status of hadith, but only on the basis of the sanad. The jurists classified the hadiths in terms of processability. The classifying the hadiths in the view of processability leads to content criticism, because it is possible to present the content of the hadith to the main principles
