The Views of Social Studies Teachers About Religious Culture

The meanings of pre-service teachers in terms of religious culture’s concept ？are very important, because they are concerned with the religion and with the culture in their lives and their lessons at the same time. It will also provide information on the sufficiency about religious knowledge to reveal the degree to which religion is nourished from its culture. The aim of this study is to reveal the opinions of the prospective teachers of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes registered to the Social Studies Curriculum of Nev？ehir Hac？ Bekta？ Veli University in the 2017-2018 academic year. This study was carried out by phenomenology (phenomenon) method from qualitative research designs. In this context, semi-structured interview form was used to collect data. Content analysis was used to analyze the research data.
