HEALTH IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Health Impact Assessment (HIA) is an action that provides decision-making guidance. The World Health Organization (WHO) introduced this concept within the Healthy Cities Project in 2003 through the European Healthy Cities Network. The activities in Turkey was initiated in 2004. Basic methodology is to question the alternatives to mobilize new ideas, to debate all the risks that arise while questioning, and to make B plans the best and / or the least. Further reading should be done for the areas of use, sample applications should be examined. It is absolutely necessary to work with experts and to highlight activities that raise awareness in this regard
