The Analysis of Accountability and Transparency of the Firms in the Context of Agency Theory: OYAK Case

This study has been conducted to examine the agency theory in an organization with case study. For this purpose, statistical analysis conducted using the data collected with a developed questionnaire from 260 members of Turkish Armed Forces Assistance (and Pension) Fund and their perception about agency structure, service quality, transparency, and accountability. Interview with 14 agents, observation of management processes, and document analysis has been conducted. The managerial structure, weak, and strong sides of Fund has been discussed.
