Percept？on Of The Proff？cency Among Academ？c？ans: A Research Between K？l？s 7 Aral？k Un？vers？ty And Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam Un？vers？ty

There is at least one state university is available in each city of Turkey. It is possible to assert that academic staff is the major element of human resources in universities. There are approximately 155000 academic staff available according to the statistics on February, 2016. This situation makes the research on perception on profession, organizational commitment and satisfactory level of academic personnel an obligation. In this study the perception of academic personnel towards the proficiency is researched in a new established university namely, Kilis 7 Aralik University and Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University established in 1992. The results indicate that organizational commitment and job satisfaction is higher on academicians of Kilis 7 Aral？k University. Organizational commitment of associate professors is higher in Kilis 7 Aralik University. Organizational commitment of research assistants and lecturers are higher than associate professors in Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University. Moreover, moderate positive and statistically significant relationship is found between organizational commitment and job satisfaction
