Cone Crusher Design and Verification with Finite Element Method

Cone crushers are mainly used for crushing of abrasive and hard rocks. These machines are operated in crushing and screening plants for a long time and during this time the machine elements are exposed to heavy loads. Therefore, it is aimed to investigate the design parameters of cone crushers and to increase the efficiency of cone crushers by transferring these design outputs to production. Material selection of some critical parts, design improvements, calculation of crushing force and their verification by finite element analysis were performed.
