On Some Local Singers in Hittite Texts

One of the most used instruments in performing music in the Hittites was human voice. There were many officers who sang among the musicians in the Hittite documents. These were the musicians who played a variety of musical instruments and used their voices in accordance with their place in the ceremony. On the other hand, many musicians whose main job was only singing were also recorded. Some cities had their own constructions. This study will focus on these cities and local singers
