Investigation in terms of life skills of the 2018 Science Curriculum Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this research is to examine the learning outcomes in the 2018 Science curriculum in terms of life skills (decision making, analytical thinking, team work, creative thinking, communication, entrepreneurship). So, this research is designed according to the document review method. In the study, the data obtained from the 2018 Science learning outcomes. The descriptive analysis techniques are used. Coding in the analysis process was performed independently by two different researchers. As a result, it has been seen that there are learning outcomes to develop the most the analytical thinking and communication skills from the life skills according to the grade levels and subject areas. It has been also seen the learning outcomes related to entrepreneurship, creativity and decision-making is moderate when compared to other life skills. Differently, It has been seen that there is only one the learning outcome to improve teamwork skills. According to the learning subjects, it has been seen that the learning subjects titled "the living and life” and “Physical Events" contained most of the learning outcomes. According to grade levels, the learning outcomes improving life skills found in the seventh grade at the most, and at least in the fifth grade level
