XIX. Century Armenian for The Basic Rights And Freedoms in The Ottoman State in The Canik (Samsun)

The Ottoman State is one of the strongest states established in history. The main factor of the great and longevity of the Ottoman Empire is that it could have kept many ethnic people together under the same roof. A clearer says, is that many different believers can live together for a long time in peace. The Armenians who lived in peace and coexistence for hundreds of years in the serenity of peace and brotherhood which the Ottoman Empire put forth, took part in almost all the bureaucratic and administrative structures of the state. Achieving important rights in religious, political, commercial, social, economic and cultural fields, Armenians attained the comfort and peace that they could never reach and acquire in Ottoman society.
