Rational Approach to the Patient Presenting with Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Abstrac tChronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is an inflammatory disorder of the nasal and paranasal sinus mucoza that lasts 12 weeks or longer. It is a heterogeneous and multifactorial disease, thus its pathogenesis is not yet fully understood especially in children. The main symptoms of disease are also frequently encountered complaints in childhood, so a detailed differential diagnosis process is required in the management of patients. Inpatients who do not respond to medical treatment, it may be necessary to investigate the relatively rare diseases and to consider surgical treatment options
