Correlation and Evaluation of Second League Basketball Players’ Aerobic and Anaerobic Powers with Some Motoric ParametersKeywords: Basketbol,Aerobik gü?,Anaerobik gü? Abstract: The aim of this study is to evaluate the correlation of anaerobic and aerobic powers of 14 elite minor league basketball players with body fat percentage, speed and leg power. 14 elite minor league basketball players are participated the study at the age of 23.07± 5.52 years, with the sport history of 12.57±4.89 years, at the height of 193.46±6.50 m, at the weight of 95.60±10.13 kg. Height, weight, resting heart rate, leg power, 30 m. sprint, flexibility, shuttle run, vertical jump, and skinfold thickness of leg and scapula area values are taken. Skinfold thickness data was translated to fat mass by using ‘Sloan and Weir’ Formula. Anaerobic power was calculated by Lewis Nomogram. Pearson Correlation Index is calculated in order to determine the way and the strength of the relationship between parameters which have normal distribution and Spearman Correlation is calculated for those without normal distribution. Significance level is considered as p<0,05. Statistically significant correlation is not determined between aerobic power and body fat percentage, aerobic power and speed, aerobic power and leg power, anaerobic power and body fat percentage, anaerobic power and leg power. On the other hand statistically significant correlation is determined between anaerobic power and 30 m. sprint (p<0,05) and it is observed that players with high anaerobic power can run faster
