THE EFFECTS OF MAR?TAL STATUS OF WOMEN MANAGERS ON WORK STRESS: A RESEARCH IN IZMIRKeywords: kad?n y?neticiler,medeni durum,i? stresi,i? performans?,cinsiyet rolleri Abstract: The main purpose of this research is to determine the perceptions of women managers on work stress within their marital status. The survey form prepared on this research was applied to 84 women managers working in different sectors by face-to-face survey method between November 2017 and March 2018 in the province of Izmir. According to women managers, married and single status, child ownership, support of social culture effect work stress of woman managers. Most of the women menagers, single or married, think that type B personality structure effects work stress on positive way. On the other hand, it has been determined that the qualifications of husband, family, child and relatives, interaction and status of women managers in managing work stresses, are in advanced level of importance.Married women are only more concerned with taking balanced responsibility for their children and the education levels of their husbands
