Social Work Staff’s Perceptions on Applications in Juvenile Justice SystemKeywords: ?ocuk adalet sistemi,sosyal ?al??ma g?revlisi,i?e y?nelik alg? Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate social work staff’s perceptions on applications in juvenile justice system. Social work staff’s perceptions on applications were obtained by interviewing 6 social work staff working at juvenile courts. Analyzed the obtained data, it was seen that findings were grouped under headings social work staff’s perceptions on job definition, social work staff’s views of the roles assigned to them accordance with the implementation of the sentences, difficulties which social workers experience as interviewing with the children conflicted with law, works which staff perform with families of both victim children and children conflicted with law, difficulties which social work staff experience as interviewing with families of both victim children and children conflicted with law, social staff’s perceptions on their professional competence, professional training programs social staff would like to attend, effects of jobs on social staff’spersonal and social life, social staff’sviews of workplace environment
